Illiyoon Cream reestablishes the lipid barrier with a 5% triple Ceramide combination (Ceramide NP, AP, EOP), which was shown clinically to increase the water content of the stratum corneum to twice the baseline value of 12.3% to 28.5% in 2 hours (Corneometer CM825). Moisturizing time extended up to 72 hours (up to 24 hours in the control group). As of 2023, information from the Korea Academy of Dermatology reports that 3% oat beta-glucan here reduced transdermal water loss (TEWL) by 47.6% (from 25.4 g/m²/h to 13.3 g/m²/h) and increased cuticle lipid density by 23.8% (confocal Raman spectroscopy). On -10°C low temperature, paste viscosity was increased from 4500 mPa·s at 25°C to 6200 mPa·s but was still ductile with 0.4mm per second (38% higher than petroleum jelly) and low temperature water locking efficiency of 92% (68% in the control group).
Particle size 50-80nm lipid encapsulation technology increases component permeability. Experiments showed that the retention concentration of ceramide nanoparticles in the epidermal layer was 1.2μg/cm² (control cream 0.5μg/cm²), and the rate of lipid bilayer repair was 2.3 times. Under dry conditions with 30% humidity, Illiyoon Cream has a moisturizing Performance index (MPI) of 8.7 (industry average 5.2) because of the combined action of 2% Panthenol and 0.5% squalane (moisturizing binding capacity increased by 62%). Clinical trials in patients with atopic dermatitis found that following 4 weeks of continuous use, SCORAD score decreased from 48.3 to 28.1 (41.4% decrease) and frequency of pruritus episodes decreased by 63% (0.9 →0.3 per hour).

Cost-benefit analysis shows the advantages of its composition. Its price per gram of raw material is 0.11 (patented emulsification technology added), compared to CeraVe (0.15/g) and Riurespring (0.23/g), its moisturizing efficacy per unit cost (0.01 / hour) is 4.8, well higher than the 3.1 and 2.6 of the competition. South Korea Consumer Agency survey revealed that its shelf life after opening to 18 months (industry standard 12 months), because of the use of 0.02% phenoxyethanol +1, 2-hexanediol anti-corrosion system, microbial growth rate is controlled at < 5 CFU/g (national standard upper limit 100 CFU/g).
The compatibility of extreme environment ensures its technological innovation. In the 40°C/75% relative humidity age-accelerated test, degradation of the active ingredient reduced from 8.4%/month with the control product to 0.9% (HPLC determination), and ceramide retention remained 94% after UVA exposure (UVA 10 J/cm²) (not labeled SPF but SPF12 equivalent). The experimental results in the Middle East user trials suggested that the skin water content reduced by only 9.7% after 8 hours of use in daytime high temperature (45°C) conditions, compared to 31.2% in the control group, and the rate of repair of barrier damage was 2.8 times greater in the desert wind-sand environment.
Special group applicability by authority certification. According to the Korea MFDS infant product Standard (KCS 101), its pH is not altered at 5.2 (in the natural pH range of the skin) and the erythema index is only 0.3 (limit 1.0) in the irritation test. Clinical trials in patients who were undergoing chemotherapy showed that Illiyoon cream enhanced the severity of radiation dermatitis by 58% (RTOG score from 2.7 to 1.1) and promoted epidermal regeneration by 41% (healing cycle from 21 to 12.4 days).
